Our Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners have become crucial partners in health care in the U.S. As trained and certified mid-level providers, they take their existing nursing knowledge and degree to the next level by undergoing additional rigorous training.

Certified and regulated as medical providers, they are able to perform patient care, procedures, and prescribing. NP’s are found increasingly in all medical settings, from primary care offices to assisting in surgeries and deliveries.

At Newnan Dermatology, our Nurse Practitioner has an even more unique position. After receiving advanced education, clinical training, and certifications that enable her to provide medical care independently with physician collaboration, she assisted in the opening of a medical aesthetic and laser center. At this time Trisha realized her passion for the art of cosmetic dermatology. Since then, she has gained the medical, aesthetic, and business savvy allowing her to act as Director of our Skin Spa and Cosmetic Dermatology Program.
